Initial Concepts

Our goal was clear: to design a wine cellar that seemed to float effortlessly, with the help of clear acrylic panels and smooth, clear wine pegs. This innovative design would hold wine bottles securely and protect their labels while offering a striking visual impact.

The wine cellar design centered around using label forward pegs that were smooth and rounded, to preserve wine labels and cork moisture. This attention to detail helps maintain the wine's quality over time. 

Collaboration and Crafting

To make our vision a reality, we worked closely with expert partners like Applied Plastics Machining and Heritage Glass Co. Together, we engineered a mechanism to stabilize the wall and glass panels, ensuring the custom wine racking remained steady even during minor vibrations or impacts.

We sourced high-quality acrylic and glass for the project, CNC machining technology was then used to cut and shape the acrylic panels and wine pegs to match our design plans. 

Integration and Installation

In the installation phase, we carefully attached our custom-designed pegs to the acrylic panels and secured them to the wall. Next, we installed a clear glass enclosure around the wine cellar to provide protection and stability while maintaining the sleek, floating appearance.

We also added energy-efficient LED lighting to enhance the visual appeal of the custom wine cellar design and create a welcoming atmosphere in the dining area. This not only added a touch of elegance but also highlighted the wine collection beautifully.

Final Touches and Client Walkthrough

Once installation was complete, we tested everything to make sure the wine cellar met all safety and quality standards. This included checking the stabilization mechanism, lighting, and overall functionality.
